dro handwoven clothing, outerwear, and blankets represent a personal modification and modernization of simple ethnic designs.
Each garment is unique; individual character is created using complex weaving patterns drawn from many different countries and dating back as far as the 18th century. All seams and hems are meticulously hand sewn.
Very special items are hand spun and/or hand dyed with natural dyes such as indigo, osage orange, cochineal, and lac to make truly one of a kind pieces you will find nowhere else.
dro handwoven uses only very high quality luxury natural fibers, including superfine Peruvian alpaca, South African mohair, Swiss silk, French cashmere, French angora, Peruvian highland wool, and organic cotton.
With proper care, your dro handwoven design will last a lifetime or more! Handwash or dry clean only.
